§ 1428.08 ALTERATION OR ERASURE OF PLANS.
   No person shall erase, alter or modify any lines, figures or coloring contained upon any drawings or specifications filed with the Chief Building Official. If, during the progress of the execution of the work, it is desired to deviate, in any manner affecting the construction or any other essential aspect of the building, from the terms of the application, plans or specifications, notice of such intention to alter or deviate shall be given in writing to the Chief Building Official, and his or her written assent shall be obtained before such alteration or deviation may be made. If such change or deviation affects the bearing or structural parts of such building, or its classification or grade of occupancy, new plans thereof shall be submitted to the Chief Building Official for approval.
