(a) Pursuant to Article VI, § 9, of the City Charter, the head of the Planning and Community Development Department shall be the Director of Planning and Community Development. In addition to the Director of Planning and Community Development, there are hereby established the following positions which may be filled by approval of the Mayor:
(1) Economic Development Manager;
(2) Geographic Information System Coordinator;
(3) Senior Planner;
(4) Planner I or II;
(5) Zoning Inspector; and
(6) Department Head Secretary.
(b) The Planning and Community Development Department positions shall work under and be subject to the supervision of the Director of Planning and Community Development and shall perform such duties as may be delegated to him or her by the Director pursuant to the position’s job description on file in the Human Resource Department.
