In any situation where the sewer system requires a builder to install a grinder pump, the builder shall, as a condition of obtaining an occupancy permit, furnish information to the Chief Building Official that the builder has, in writing, notified the purchaser of the house that a grinder pump has been installed and that the purchaser is responsible for maintaining the pump. A signature of the purchaser attesting to the receipt of the notification required by this section shall relieve the builder of any further responsibility under this section. The Chief Building Official is authorized to promulgate such rules and forms as he or she deems necessary to administer this section.
