The building sewer shall be backfilled and compacted in accordance with city standards and specifications prescribed and on file in the office of the City Engineer. Frozen soil or soil containing stones larger than one inch in the greatest dimension shall not be used as backfill. The standards and specifications shall apply to all conditions especially when sewers or appurtenances are located under driveways, sidewalks, paving and the like shall have the excavated material removed and replaced with granular material as specified in the standards and specifications.
