§ 1026.07 REPAIR BY CITY; ASSESSMENT OF COST.
   (a)   Should the owner, within the time stated in the notice, fail to construct, grade, repair or replace the sidewalk, driveway apron or tree lawn in accordance with the statement of repair, the City Engineer shall cause the same to be done by the city or its agent and shall bill the cost to the property owner in compliance with the requirements of the Ohio Revised Code. If the owner fails to pay the cost within 30 days of such billing, the City Engineer shall report the same to Council, which may thereupon assess the cost, together with the expense of assessing and collecting the same, upon the property and cause the assessment to be certified to the County Fiscal Officer for collection.

   (b)   The remedy provided for herein shall be in addition to the penalty provided in § 1026.99.
