1-7-2: TOWN MAGISTRATE 1 :
The presiding officer of the Magistrate Court shall be the Town Magistrate, who shall be appointed by the Town Council for a four (4) year term. The Town Magistrate shall perform those functions necessary to the maintenance of the Magistrate Court as provided by State statute. (1986 Code §§ 3-2-6, 5-2-1; 1997 Code)
