(a) The provisions of this subchapter shall not apply to any state institution, children’s home, association or institution having the care of children under its control, which is duly incorporated under the laws of this state.
(b) Nothing in this subchapter shall apply to hotels or other similar places that furnish only board and room, or either, to their guests.
