(a) Any person violating any provision of this chapter, for which no other penalty is provided, shall be subject to the penalty provisions of § 10.999.
(b) A candidate or political committee that fails to timely file any statement, amendment, or correction required by this chapter subjects the treasurer responsible for filing to a civil penalty of $50 per day for each day that the statement remains delinquent not to exceed $3,000. The civil penalty shall be in addition to any criminal sanctions and shall be paid to the city clerk and deposited in the city general fund.
