§ 35.033 PROHIBITED CONDUCT AFTER LEAVING THE CITY.
   No present or former officer or employee may represent another person for compensation before the city or any public body thereof while in office or employed for a period of two years from the date of termination of their office or employment concerning any matter with which the officer or employee was directly concerned and in which the officer or employee personally participated during the employment or service by a substantial and material exercise of administrative discretion either during their holding of office or employment or for a period of two years thereafter. This section shall not prohibit any former employee from acting as a paid private consultant for any person so long as the former officer or employee does not appear on behalf of that person before the city or any public body thereof, either personally or by communication of any kind, for a period of two years from the date of termination of their office or employment and that former officer or employee does not disclose confidential information at any time.
