§ 11-1-2 INTERPRETATION.
   In their interpretation and application, the provisions of this title shall be held to be the minimum requirements adopted for the promotion of the public health, safety, and welfare. To protect the public, among other purposes, such provisions are intended to provide for adequate light, pure air, safety from fire and other danger, undue concentration of population, and ample parking facilities.
