A. Adoption: There is adopted by the Town Council for the purpose of prescribing regulations for the minimum standards to safeguard life, health, property and public welfare, that certain code known as the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings (1997 edition), save and except such portions as may be deleted, modified or amended, and the same is incorporated in this section as fully as if set out at length in this chapter, and the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the Town. One copy shall be on file and available for inspection by the public in the Office of the Town Clerk-Treasurer.
B. Penalty Imposed: Any person, firm, partnership or corporation violating any of the terms or conditions of this chapter shall be subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code, and each day such violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense.
