In accordance with the provisions of section 2-1 of the Model Traffic Code as adopted in section 5-1-2 of this title and when official signs are erected giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles shall stop or yield as required by said signs at every intersection before entering any of the following streets or parts of streets:

In accordance with the provisions of section 4-2 of the Model Traffic Code as adopted in section 5-1-2 of this title and when official signs are erected giving notice thereof, the prima facie speed limit shall be as specified for the following intersections or approaches thereto:

In accordance with part 11, section 1101(7) of the Model Traffic Code, as adopted by the Town of Simla, the speed limits as set forth on the speed signs put in place by the Colorado Department of Transportation on Highway 24, as the highway passes through the Town of Simla, are declared to be absolute as the maximum lawful speed limits and not subject to part 11, section 1107(4) of the Model Traffic Code, pertaining to evidence bearing upon the question of whether or not the speed was reasonable and prudent under the conditions then existing.
