Except where a flat fee is required, the fee for a Town building permit shall be based upon a formula calculation utilizing table 1-A, building permit fees, of the 1994 Uniform Building Code. (Ord. 207, 2-3-1998; amd. Res. 90-1998, 10-6-1998)
A. Permit Fees Based Upon The 1994 Uniform Building Code: The valuation of the work done which required the issuance of a building permit, and which valuation pertains to table 1-A, building permit fees, of the 1994 Uniform Building Code shall be based upon the following deemed cost per square foot of such construction:

B. Flat Permit Fee:
1. The following activities shall require payment of a flat permit fee of one hundred twenty five dollars ($125.00):
a. Any matter solely related to the Uniform Mechanical Code, including furnaces, air conditioning, ventilation, etc.
b. Remodeling.
c. Structural modifications.
d. Roof and reroof.
e. Solid fuel stove (wood, pellet, coal, etc.).
f. Foundation.
g. Move and set inspection: One hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) plus fifty five cents ($0.55) per mile.
h. Six (6) month extension.
2. Other miscellaneous permits and fee schedule:
a. Demolition (need State permit also) | $170.00 |

C. Plan Review Fee: Plan review cost equal to sixty five percent (65%) of the permit.
D. State Required Inspection Fees Excluded: The foregoing rate schedule may not include the cost for inspections conducted by State entities for State required inspections, which inspection fees shall be paid separately to the applicable State entity.
E. Posting: The Town Clerk shall post the rates and fees schedule for building permits for 2014 in a prominent place with other such public notices in the Clerk's Office. (Res. 196-2014, 1-14-2014)
