The present municipality known as Silverton, Ohio, shall continue to be a body politic and corporate under the name of the Village of Silverton, or City of Silverton, according to the population requirements of the State of Ohio. The boundaries of the municipality shall be those existing at the time of the adoption of this Charter, subject to change by annexation or detachment in the manner authorized by the general laws of Ohio.
