(A) Russian, Canadian, or Common Thistle, wild lettuce, wild mustard, wild parsley, ragweed, milkweed, buckwheat, plantain, iron weed, grasses and all other noxious weeds and grasses growing or being upon any lot or lands within the city in excess of six inches are declared a public nuisance.
(B) Every owner, occupant, or person in control of any lot or lands within the city shall cause that lot or lands to be kept free from noxious weeds and grasses by cutting, destroying, mowing, spraying with a chemical compound, approved by the city or by cutting or digging under those noxious weeds and grasses.
