Before a housemoving permit is issued, the persons proposing to do such work shall pay to the city fees as required in this chapter and shall complete an application form furnished by the building inspector and shall set forth such information thereon as the building inspector may reasonably require, in order to carry out the purposes of this chapter. The building inspector shall then cause to be made an examination of the building or structure proposed to be moved, and the location to which it is proposed to move the same, if such location is within the city.
