§ 94.06 DOMESTIC ANIMALS.
   (A)   Domestic animal or pet. No person shall bring or escort a dog or any other domestic animal or pet into any area within park boundaries where such animals are not permitted, unless restrained at all times on leashes not to exceed six feet in length. Dogs are not permitted on sports fields for any reason aside from certain exceptions in accordance with this code. Animals, except for service dogs, are prohibited from the park during public events aside from certain exceptions in accordance with § 90.06 of this code. Dogs over four months of age shall wear a valid city license on their collar in accordance with § 90.03 of this code.
   (B)   Exemptions from restraint requirements. Dogs using designated dog parks and animals participating in AKC shows and department approved obedience classes are exempt, provided that they are accompanied by and under the voice control of its owner or handler.
   (C)   Grazing and foraging. It shall be unlawful to allow grazing or any forage-consuming domestic livestock to graze or to roam at-large within the fenced or posted boundaries of city parks.
   (D)   Saddle, pack and draft animals. No person shall bring saddle, pack or draft animals into a city park or recreation site, unless it has been developed to accommodate them and signs are posted accordingly. The sole exemption is for public displays at parades or community festival events.
   (E)   Waste. Waste from dogs or any other domestic animal or pet shall be removed and disposed of in a sanitary manner, by placing waste in a plastic bag, and then securing and placing it in a waste receptacle consistent with the language expressed in § 90.01 of this code.
