All electric wiring, installation of electrical fixtures, apparatus, or electrical appliances for furnishing light, heat, or power, or other electrical work introduced into or placed in or upon, or in any way connected on, any building or structure within the limits of the city shall be in conformity with the provisions set forth in the 1965 electrical code, standard of the National Board of Fire Underwriters for electrical wiring and apparatus, as recommended by the National Fire Protection Association, which is hereby adopted as the electrical code of this city, three (3) copies of the above adopted code being on file in the office of the clerk.
