(A) Establishment. The office of Alcoholic Beverage Control Administrator is hereby established.
(B) Powers and duties. The Alcoholic Beverage Control Administrator shall be responsible for implementation of all laws, ordinances, and regulations relative to the operation of premises licensed to sell, manufacture, or distribute alcoholic beverages within the city. The Alcoholic Beverage Control Administrator shall be under the direct supervision of the Mayor and shall account to him for all actions in his department.
(C) Oath. The Alcoholic Beverage Control Administrator, upon his appointment and prior to taking office, shall take an oath to faithfully perform the duties of his office and that he possesses the requisite qualifications for the position.
(D) Compensation. The Alcoholic Beverage Control Administrator shall be paid a salary in an amount as established by Council in accordance with § 31.02.
