(A) Establishment. The office of Adult Entertainment Director is hereby established.
(B) Powers and duties. The Adult Entertainment Director shall be responsible for the overall supervision of applications for adult entertainment licenses and permits within the city as provided for by applicable law, ordinance, or regulation. The Adult Entertainment Director shall, within the scope of his office, be under the direct supervision of the Mayor and shall account to him for all actions within his department.
(C) Oath. The Adult Entertainment Director, upon his appointment and prior to taking office, shall take an oath to faithfully perform the duties of his office and that he possesses the requisite qualifications for the position.
(D) Compensation. The Adult Entertainment Director shall be paid a salary in an amount as established by Council in accordance with § 31.02.
