§ 71.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter where no other penalty is specifically provided shall be guilty of a violation and fined not more than $250.
   (B)   Any person who violates §§ 71.14 or 71.41 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and fined not less than $60 nor more than $500, or be imprisoned for not more than 30 days, or both. (KRS 189.993(8))
   (C)   Any person who violates § 71.27 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and fined not less than $25 nor more than $300. (KRS 189.990(23))
   (D)   Any person violating § 71.80 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and fined not less than $12 nor more than $500 or imprisoned for not more than six months, or both. In addition, if it appears to be the satisfaction of the trial court that any offender of § 71.80 has a driver’s license but in good faith failed to have same on his or her person or misplaced or lost same, the court may, in its discretion, dismiss the charges against the defendant without fine, imprisonment, or cost. (KRS 186.990(3),(5))
   (E)   Any person who violates § 71.55 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $250 or imprisoned for not more than ninety (90) days, or both.
