(A) The gross weight of any vehicle and its load on any street in the city, except as set forth in Chapter 76, Schedule II, shall not exceed 36,000 pounds.
(B) It shall be unlawful for the operator of any truck which weighs more than 36,000 pounds, including the load, to use any street in the city, except those designated in Chapter 76, Schedule II, and except for the purpose of loading or unloading.
(C) This section shall apply to all streets in the city except those streets for which Jefferson County assumes the obligation of maintenance and except for state highways

(D) Penalty. The penalty for violation of this section shall be in accordance with the fine schedule set forth in KRS 189.990(2)
