§ 35.43 PROHIBITION OF POLITICAL ACTIVITY.
   No Police or Fire Department member shall be appointed to any position in the Police or Fire Department because of political partisan service rendered by him or his family, or because of political sentiment or affiliation, nor shall any person be dismissed or reduced in grade because of any political opinion.
