The purpose of this chapter is:
(A) To prohibit the location and occupancy of mobile homes, as defined in § 151.03 of this chapter, except within licensed mobile home parks, to assure that sites within such mobile home parks are suitable for the location of mobile homes by providing minimum standards for privacy, fire protection, utility service and off-street parking; and
(B) To encourage the provision of affordable housing by permitting manufactured housing, as defined in § 151.03 of this chapter, where similar dwellings constructed on-site are permitted, subject to the requirements and procedures set forth herein to assure similarity in exterior appearance between such manufactured homes and site-built dwellings constructed on adjacent lots.
