§ 30.05  CONTEMPT.
   Any member transgressing any rule of Council, the presiding officer shall call to order, or any member of Council may raise a point of order, upon which the presiding officer shall rule and, in case any member is called to order, he or she shall immediately sit down and desist from speaking and remain silent, and any member proving contumacious may be punished by the Mayor for contempt and fined in an amount set by Council from time to time and, upon failure to pay such fine, may be imprisoned in jail not exceeding five days.
