§ 73.99  PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   (1)   Unless otherwise provided for in §§ 73.01 through 73.17 of this chapter, any person violating any provision of §§ 73.01 through 73.17 of this chapter shall be fined in an amount set by Council from time to time; upon a second conviction within one year thereafter, shall be fined in an amount set by Council from time to time; and, upon a third or subsequent conviction, shall be fined in an amount set by Council from time to time.
      (2)   Any person violating § 73.05 of this chapter shall be fined in an amount set by Council from time to time or imprisoned not more than ten days, or both; upon a second conviction within one year thereafter, shall be fined in an amount set by Council from time to time or imprisoned not more than 20 days, or both; and, upon a third or subsequent conviction, shall be fined in an amount set by Council from time to time or imprisoned not more than 30 days, or both.
      (3)   Whoever violates § 73.16 of this chapter shall be fined in an amount set by Council from time to time.

      (4)   Any person who violates the provisions of § 73.17 of this chapter shall be fined in an amount set by Council from time to time. No court costs or other fees shall be assessed for a violation of § 73.17 of this chapter. Enforcement of § 73.17 of this chapter shall be accomplished only as a secondary action when a driver of a passenger vehicle has been detained for probable cause of violating another subchapter of this code.

   (C)   (1)   Any person violating the provisions of § 73.30 of this chapter, after being involved in an accident resulting in physical injury, but not death, to any person, shall be imprisoned for not more than 30 days, or fined in an amount set by Council from time to time or both.

      (2)   Any person failing to stop or comply with such requirements under such circumstances, as per § 73.31 of this chapter, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
