§ 154.115 INSPECTION OF STORM WATER FACILITIES.
   The approving agency is hereby granted the authority to conduct inspections of storm water facilities approved pursuant to this chapter on a routine basis, random basis or based upon a complaint of other notice of violation. The approving agency may inspect drainage basins or areas identified as higher than typical sources of sediment or other contaminants or pollutants, businesses or industries of a type associated with higher than usual discharges of contaminants or pollutants or with discharges of a type which are more likely to cause violations of state or federal water or sediment quality standards or the NPDES storm water permit, and it may conduct joint inspections with other agencies inspecting under environmental or safety laws. Said inspections may include, but are not limited to, the following: review of maintenance and repair records; sampling discharges, surface water, ground water and material or water in drainage control facilities; and evaluation of the condition of drainage control facilities and other storm water treatment practices.
