The Mayor, and/or his or her assign, shall make or cause to be made such inspections of demolitions of property as are necessary to assure that there has been a permit obtained for the demolition of the property and that the materials obtained for the demolition of the property and that the materials are being properly disposed of. The Building Inspector shall make or cause to be made such inspections of demolitions of property as are necessary to assure that there has been a permit obtained for the demolition of the property and that the materials are being properly disposed of.
