§ 117.39 LICENSE REQUIRED AFTER EFFECTIVE DATE.
   Thirty days after the effective date of this chapter, no operator shall maintain, operate or conduct an adult establishment unless such person has applied for a city adult establishment license. Thereafter, no operator shall own, operate or be employed at an adult establishment which has sought and been denied a license according to this chapter; and unless all dancers, performers and entertainers appearing at such establishment have obtained the license required by § 117.40 of this chapter. No owner shall permit adult entertainment to be conducted on his or her property unless and until such establishment is properly licensed according to this section. No person shall permit himself or herself to be an operator or employee at an adult establishment which has not been validly licensed according to this section, except as permitted under § 117.40 of this chapter.
