§ 51.006 NON-DOMESTIC ANIMALS
   Non-domestic animals may not be kept within the city except under the following conditions:
   (A)   All non-domestic animals shall be kept within a pen or fenced enclosure.
   (B)   All non-domestic animals shall be kept a minimum of one hundred (100) feet away from any property line, in any direction, except as provided for in § 51.006(D).
   (C)   All pens or enclosures in which non-domestic animals are kept shall be clean and sanitary.
   (D)   There shall be no minimum set-back requirements for non-domestic animals kept on property that is zoned as agricultural or that exists as agricultural under the nonconforming use provisions of the city zoning regulations, and that has an existing fenced enclosure in place as of June 30, 2014. For any property that is zoned as agricultural or that exists as agricultural under the nonconforming use provisions of the city zoning regulations, but does not have an existing fenced enclosure in place as of June 30, 2014, the minimum set-back requirement provided for in § 51.006(B) shall apply only to property lines that adjoin with a property that is zoned as residential, and only if the fenced enclosure is not already in place at the time that adjoining property is initially zoned as residential.
