(A) Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, all electrical construction, all material and appliances used in connection with electrical work, and the operation of all electrical apparatus within the city shall conform to the rules and regulations of the Administrative Building Council of Indiana, as amended from time to time, for the installation of wiring and electrical apparatus for electrical purposes.
(B) Two certified copies of the rules and regulations shall be on file in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer for public inspection. The rules and regulations are hereby adopted, approved, and made a part of this chapter as fully as if set out at length herein, provided the rules and regulations of the Administrative Building Council of Indiana are not in any respect in conflict with the provisions of this code, the laws of the state, or subsequent ordinances and resolutions of the city.
