(A) Whoever violates any provision of this code for which another penalty is not specifically provided, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $2,500 for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed upon each day during which a violation occurs or continues.
(B) In matters of nuisance violations, the Board of Public Works and Safety shall have the authority to impose such fines. When a fine is imposed by the Board of Public Works and Safety, an appeal to the Board may be made by the person who has been fined.
