§ 154.28 CORRECTION OF FAULTY WORK.
   (A)   Should the Building Inspector find that the work called for in a plumbing permit is not proceeding according to the plans and specifications upon which the permit was issued, it shall be his or her duty to notify in writing the plumbing contractor of record. One copy of the notice shall be filed with the application for the permit, stating that the work is being done in violation of the permit or this chapter and that the work shall be corrected as required. The Building Inspector shall issue no permits to do any other plumbing work to the plumbing contractor until the faulty work is corrected. If the work is not corrected within a reasonable time, steps may be taken to correct the work through a proper action on the plumbing contractor’s bond and, after hearing, the plumbing contractor’s license may be suspended until the work is corrected or revoked by the Building Commission.
   (B)   Notice of faulty work shall be by inspection report or letter to the plumbing contractor of record and the Building Inspector shall cause a tag, sticker, or notice of the his or her ruling to be attached to the plumbing work under construction or near the vicinity of the work.
