§ 153.23 SUSPENSION OF PERMIT.
   (A)   Whenever, upon inspection of any rooming house, the Building Inspector finds that conditions or practices exist which are in violation of any provision of this chapter, he or she shall give notice in writing to the operator of the rooming house that unless the conditions or practices are corrected within a reasonable period, to be determined by the Building Inspector, the operator’s rooming house permit will be suspended.
   (B)   At the end of the period, the Building Inspector shall reinspect the rooming house, and if he or she finds that the conditions or practices have not been corrected, he or she shall give notice in writing to the operator that the latter’s permit has been suspended.
   (C)   Upon receipt of notice of suspension, the operator shall immediately cease operation of the rooming house, and no person shall occupy for sleeping or living purposes any rooming unit therein.
