(A) The Building Inspector shall diligently make inspections to determine the condition of dwellings, dwelling units, buildings used as dwellings, and premises located within the city in order that he or she may perform his or her duty of safeguarding the safety and health of the occupants of dwellings and of the general public.
(B) For the purpose of making inspections, the Building Inspector shall conform to all applicable state laws regarding right of entry.
