§ 119.26 PREREQUISITES FOR DRIVER’S LICENSE.
   Each applicant for a driver’s license under the provisions of this subchapter shall be licensed as a chauffeur under the provisions of the laws of the state; shall have attained the age of 21 years; shall have sound physique and good eyesight and not be subject to epilepsy, vertigo, heart trouble, or any other infirmity of body or mind which might render him or her unfit for the safe operation of a public vehicle; shall be able to read and write the English language; shall be clean in dress and person and not addicted to the use of intoxicating liquors or narcotics, and shall produce, on forms provided by the Clerk-Treasurer, affidavits establishing his or her good reputation from two reputable citizens of the city.
