Immediately upon the completion of work and filling in of an excavation by a contractor, he or she shall contact the City Engineer's office to request a final inspection of the site. The City Engineer's office reserves the right to inspect with 24 to 48 hours of receiving notice of the need for inspection. The City Engineer or his or her designee shall verify that the site has been restored to the same or better condition than it was prior to the work that was performed.
