(A) The Chief of Police is authorized to erect signs indicating no parking upon any street where the width of the roadway does not exceed 20 feet, or upon one side of a street as indicated by signs, when the width of the roadway does not exceed 33 feet.
(B) When official signs prohibiting parking are erected upon narrow streets as authorized in this section, no person shall park a vehicle upon any street in violation of the sign.
