3-2-9: CONSUMPTION IN HOTELS RESTRICTED:
Except in the cases of alcoholic beverages kept or consumed in premises for which a license has been granted under the laws of the state of Montana and under this chapter, and which premises form a part of the hotel, no person shall keep or consume alcoholic beverages in any part of a hotel other than a private guestroom, and no person shall keep or have any alcoholic beverages in any room in a hotel unless he is a bona fide guest of the hotel and is duly registered in the office of the hotel as an occupant of that room.
