12-13-8: ENFORCEMENT:
Except as provided in Montana Code Annotated section 76-3-303 and this title, every final subdivision plat must be filed for record with the clerk and recorder before title to the subdivided land can be sold or transferred in any manner. If unlawful transfers are made, the city attorney or county attorney shall commence action to enjoin further sales or transfers and compel compliance with all provisions of the MSPA and this title. The cost of this action shall be imposed against the nonprevailing party. (Ord. 784, 8-6-2007)
