PUDs must comply with the standards contained in chapter 8 of this title. However, the governing body may modify the design and improvement standards contained in sections 12-8-6, 12-8-8 and 12-8-16 of this title upon request of the subdivider when the plan for a PUD includes provisions for efficient traffic circulation, adequate light, air, and open space. In such cases, no application for a variance under section 12-13-2 of this title is necessary. (Ord. 784, 8-6-2007)
