12-4-6: FINAL PLAT APPROVAL:
   A.   Approval By Governing Body: The governing body shall examine every final subdivision plat and shall approve it if it conforms to the conditions of preliminary plat approval and to the terms of the MSPA and this title, or deny it pursuant to subsection A2 of this section.
      1.   If the final plat is approved, the governing body shall certify its approval on the face of the final plat. When applicable, a certificate of the governing body expressly accepting any dedicated land, easements, or improvements will be filed with the final plat.
      2.   If the final plat is denied, the governing body shall write a letter stating the reason for denial and forward a copy to the subdivider. The board will return the final plat to the subdivider within ten (10) working days of the action. The subdivider may then make any necessary corrections and resubmit the final plat for approval.
   B.   Inaccurate/Incomplete Information: The governing body may withdraw approval of a final plat if it determines that material information by the subdivider is inaccurate or incomplete. (Ord. 784, 8-6-2007)
