9-2-6: BACKFILLING:
The superintendent of streets, with the approval of the city council, shall make rules and regulations as to the method and conditions pertaining to backfilling of any excavation undertaken within or upon the streets, avenues, public places or alleys of the city. (1975 Code § 12.16.060)
