8-4-5: PRECAUTIONS:
The permittee shall take the following precautions:
   A.   The permittee shall take every precaution to prevent the spread of fire or particulate emissions from the open burn beyond his/her property.
   B.   The permittee shall have on hand the necessary materials and personnel to keep the open burn under control at all times.
   C.   The permittee shall burn only clean, dry materials and in a small enough area that it can be observed and controlled at all times.
   D.   The permittee shall have an adult attending to the open burn at all times.
   E.   The permittee shall be sure that the open burn is completely out before abandoning the same.
   F.   The permittee shall not burn in a period of high wind or excessively dry conditions.
   G.   The permittee shall not burn in an area where the wind drift is such that smoke from the open burn will create a hazard on a roadway or other public facility or otherwise create a public nuisance.
   H.   The permittee shall not burn animal droppings, garbage, dead animals, tires or any rubber materials, oil, or any type of petroleum products, railroad ties, tar paper, plastic material or toxic waste. (Ord. 732, 4-20-1998, eff. 5-20-1998)
