7-1-11: ENFORCEMENT; PENALTIES:
   A.   Obedience To Law Enforcement Officers: No person shall wilfully fail or refuse to comply with any lawful order or direction of any law enforcement officer pertaining to the use of the streets and thoroughfares by traffic. (1975 Code § 10.04.670)
   B.   Violation; Penalty:
      1.   Misdemeanor: It is a misdemeanor for any person to violate any of the sections in this chapter unless such violation is by this title or other law of this state declared to be a felony.
      2.   Penalty: Every person convicted of a misdemeanor for a violation of any of the sections of this chapter for which another penalty is not provided shall be subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code.
      3.   Failure To Pay Fines: On a failure of payment of fines, the offender, in cases of misdemeanor, shall be imprisoned in the county jail, and the imprisonment shall be as determined annually by the board of county commissioners by resolution. (1975 Code § 10.04.680; amd. 2008 Code)
      4.   Court Costs: Upon conviction, the court costs, or any part thereof, may also be assessed against the defendant at the discretion of the court. (1975 Code § 10.04.680)
