7-1-9: MISCELLANEOUS VEHICLE REGULATIONS:
   A.   Clinging To Vehicles: No person riding upon any bicycle, coaster, rollerskates, sled or toy vehicle shall attach the same or himself to any vehicle upon a roadway. (1975 Code § 10.04.620)
   B.   Unattended Motor Vehicles: No person driving or in charge of a motor vehicle shall permit it to stand unattended without first stopping the engine and effectively setting the brake thereon and, when standing upon any grade, turning the front wheels to the curb or side of the street or thoroughfare in such a manner as to prevent the vehicle from rolling onto the roadway. (1975 Code § 10.04.630)
   C.   Riding On Fenders Or Running Boards: Any person driving a vehicle shall not permit passengers to ride on the fenders or running boards nor shall any passenger ride on the fenders or running boards of a vehicle. (1975 Code § 10.04.640)
   D.   Opening And Closing Vehicle Doors: No person shall open the door of a motor vehicle on the side available to moving traffic unless and until it is reasonably safe to do so, nor shall any person leave a door open on the side of a vehicle available to moving traffic for a period of time longer than necessary to load or unload passengers. (1975 Code § 10.04.650)
