§ 1472.07 MOVING OF POWER LINES.
At least 30 days prior to the moving of any structure or building, where the moving shall be parallel to or underneath the city's electric distribution system, the person who desires to move the structure or building, or his or her agent, shall contact the Superintendent of Electric Distribution in writing and inform him or her of the proposed route. The Superintendent shall prepare an estimate of the cost, if any, to the Division of Electricity and Communications for removing and replacing its poles, wires, guys and any other equipment of the electric distribution system. Copies of the estimate shall be forwarded to the applicant and the Mayor. The Mayor shall issue no permit to move any structure or building until the applicant has paid in full to the city the amount of the estimate. In the event the actual costs to the city are less than the estimate, the difference shall be refunded to the applicant. If the actual costs are more than the estimate, the applicant shall be fully liable for the same.
