The following provisions describe the design principles and standards which a subdivider shall be required to follow in the layout of a subdivision as shown on the applicable standard drawings. These principles and standards shall be carried out in compliance with these Regulations, other regulations of the state or city and the specifications for each of the various improvements as may be required by the City Engineer and the City Division of Health, according to the nature of the improvements.
