§ 1042.21 CROSS-CONNECTIONS BETWEEN WATER AND SEWER SYSTEMS.
   (a)   No plumbing fixture, device or construction shall be installed that will provide a cross-connection between a distribution system of water for drinking purposes and drainage system, soil or waste pipe, so as to permit or make possible the backflow of sewage into the water supply system either by gravity or siphonage.
   (b)   All sewer mains and water mains, as well as sewer laterals and house water connections, shall be installed not less than ten feet center-to-center to prevent cross-over connections between the two.
