(a) Whoever signs another person's name to a petition as described in § 1028.01 is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $100 for each offense.
(b) Whoever makes a false circulator's statement as described in § 1028.01 is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $100 for each offense.
